Hello and welcome to Venado Construction. My name is Clint Hart. I own and operate Venado along with my wife of 40 years, Kay Lynn Hart. We make our home here in Colleyville.
We have raised a family here and have watched all the amazing changes that have gone on since 1963.
I started my business on the concrete side in 1999 while working at Delta Airlines. After seven years of working two jobs, I finally stepped out on my own and haven’t looked back.
I’ve had the same phone number for nearly 30 years and I always call back.
We stand behind our work and we have more experience than just about anyone. Our company has a simple motto that explains everything:
“If we don’t build it… you’ll be sacrificing quality.”

How we work
One point of contact
Clint is involved from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. You are not introduced to a new project manager halfway through.
Scope before price
A number without a defined scope is a guess. We define the work — including the structural and mechanical items behind the finishes — and then price it.
Trades we know
The framers, electricians, plumbers and finish carpenters on a Venado job are people we have worked with for years, not the lowest bid of the week.
Respect for the house
New work should look like it belongs. Ceiling planes resolve, trim carries through, and additions read as part of the original home.
Straight communication
If something changes — a material lead time, a condition found behind a wall — you hear about it when we do, not at the end.
Clean sites
You live here. The site gets managed with that in mind, especially when the household stays in the home during construction.
